Turbo Training



Are you already fed up of spending hours per week in a cold dark garage staring at a brick wall then for at least once a week you can take part in a turbo session alongside fellow club members, to get your workout done but in more of a sociable way.

The sessions have been written by our club coach and each week will have a specific focus such as Speed Development, Power and interval based. You're welcome to follow the instructions which will be called out on the night or simply just turn your legs over and have a chat with the rider next to you. The sessions will be held on the following Wednesday evenings (7.00 - 8.30pm) at Bristol Grammar School, University Road:


  • Block 1 (4th-25th Jan)
  • Block 2 (1-22nd Feb)
  • Block 3 (1st- 15th March)

The club have a number of Turbo trainers which can be loaned out on the night but as these are limited it's recommended to book one of these in advance with Jeff. Riders are also welcome to bring Rollers to use at the session as well.

Sessions will run in "blocks" Costing £2 for adult & £1.50 for U18 members for each session. Non members are welcome to take part for £4 per session.

As space is limited riders must book your place in advance using the Paypal button below, This will close on the monday before the first session in the block.

Don't forget to bring plenty of drink along with you along with a towel to place under your bike to "Catch the drips" and a small hand/ sports towel to wipe yourself down during the session.
